PurrFlight is a sole propiertorship company that started by dropshipping products from China directly to consumers all across the globe. The founder managed this store by themself and through Shopify. One of the largest difficulties that the individual experienced was having to manage everything from processing orders (and returns), to customer questions, to marketing.
Additionally, the individual had to learn about creating an effective and SEO optimised Shopify store which costed a lot to build and maintain. Creating worthwhile ads was also another challenge that the individual endured. TikTok and Meta ads required constant adaptation and learning about what each video does well and continuing to create new content based on previous successes. This was something the individual disliked.
Due to marketing taking up the largest amount of time and costs, the individual wanted to explore a different route that could still ensure consistent sales yet did not require as much effort. They reached out to us initially without any idea about what Bol.com was and what potentials lie within. After one call, they were reassured that this was a route they wanted to try out.

After briefly catching up to speed about how far PurrFlight was along the dropshipping process, we managed to pinpoint the main focuses for the brand. We started off by checking whether competitors existed on the Bol.com platform, and if so, how to position the brands USP. After seeing that PurrFlight was in a competitive position, we quickly began to contact our own suppliers for creating packaging in Dutch for Bol.com customers.
Once the designs and packagings were ready to be manufactured, we created an SEO optimised product listing and tested this with a small quantity of the product. Seeing that it managed to be sold out quite quickly, we moved forward with arranging the necessary logistics to have a large bulk of these imported into our location allowing us to grow their sales.
We not only managed to create a streamline process for this specific product but we also branded it in a way that consumers were more attracted to this than a regular Shopify store product. The company is now expanding their variety of products and looking to achieve a six figure annual turnover in 2025.
